Many of todays most common electronic devices contain significant computational and processing power. Capability
also exists within the device to store firmware and or software. This
firmware can be updated to include new functionality, controls,
features or enhancements. Sometimes with rapidly changing technological advances, obsolete parts must be redesigned or updated. VREF has experience in redesign and component obsolence replacement. First the older hardware and firmware is analyzed. Next, we re-develop the hardware and fimware using current technology in order to meet your existing specification. VREF
performs code development using VHDL for Xilinx devices. We also
incorporate modeling and testbench generation in order to verify the
functionality of your design.
